About Me
I have chosen to live my life as a spiritual path. It’s is a great way to ground my experience on this planet in a way that brings me both meaning and constant growth. I’m comfortable both with the very practical and the transcendent aspects of the spiritual path and having the two together is highly effective.
My big 3 (Sun, Moon Rising) are all Gemini and Capricorn. It’s a basically difficult combination but as with all chart difficulty in develops a lot of nuance in the personality. The natural curiosity of Gemini means I have a wealth on inner information and I can make inner connections very easily. The Capricorn aspect means I am very practical and can ground insight into the reality we live in, in a powerful way.
Life’s been quite epic for me! I’ve done a lot of things, from traveling the Himalayas in search of yogis, to running and owning businesses, to highly effective activism, to raising my two children and having deep intimate relationships. I’ve sought out teachers and teachings my whole life and spent many years under the guidance of a specific teacher – Leslie Temple-Thurston. My central ambition has always been to progress and self development on ‘The Path’. I am no stranger to good times and bad times and am highly focused on unpacking all that is unconscious in me in order to direct my energies with impeccability.
I have a lot of interests, from socio-politics to environmental affairs, to business and I am deeply interested in the catalysing possibilities offered by deep personal relationship. I’m a committed feminist and am extremely aware of the forces pitted against women in the world as well as coming to a place of being in deep forgiveness of the patriarchal structures. I have lived in several different cities and countries, currently Cape Town, South Africa.
